Giftgowns is a small business that was launched by Jacqueline Moss. The inspiration came from Jacqueline's personal experience from when she was admitted to the hospital. Giftgowns offers fun and practical gowns and face masks for patients and everyday use. For the past 5 months I have been working as Graphic Design and E - Commerce Intern at Giftgowns.  Part of my tasks include creating content for social media and email marketing. 

Engaging the audience and potential consumers is very important for any business. While creating banners and social media content it is important to keep in mind what attract the users eye. The colour palette that is used throughout the social media platforms included pink and blue. Pink is used for the GiftGowns Maternity social media and blue is used for the Patient social media. A key point to keep in mind is the aesthetic that is portrayed on social media. A colour palette used throughout is a great way of maintaining cohesiveness throughout the profile. The content created includes helpful tips or current events involved with the COVID-19 pandemic. Different content is created for targeted age groups. For example, “kids wearing mask” was created to help encourage children safety and wearing masks.
